Public Notice for Operating Assistance
This is to notify all interested parties that Whitehall Public Transportation and Whitehall Public Transportation – Boulder Location will be requesting financial assistance from the Montana Department of Transportation and the Federal Transit Administration. The Whitehall Public Transportation is applying for $125,958.00 under the Montana Department of Transportation’s 5311 operating grant program. The TransADE matching fund amount is $44,794.00. Funding will be used, in combination, for expenses associated with, and expanding services of, transportation to the public, elderly, and persons with disabilities within the Whitehall and Boulder communities.
The application is on file at 1147 MT Highway 55, Whitehall, MT 59759. If requested, a public hearing will be held and a public notice indicating the location, date, and time of the hearing will be provided.
