Jefferson Local Development Corporation’s Workforce Development Specialist Chris Manos has helped put together three remote job trainings at the Career Training Institute in Helena. The trainings are in collaboration with the Montana Business Assistance Connection, the Career Training Institute and Teleworks USA.

According to Manos, the trainings require participants complete a variety of computer and digital literacy modules, build a tailored resume, practice interviewing and apply for a variety of roles with global and national employers in retail, tech support and customer service.

Manos was hired by the JLDC board in September of 2022 to assist with the area’s workforce development needs. He has extensive experience connecting employers with training programs. Former JLDC Executive Director Eric Seidensticker was aware of this and wanted to give Manos the opportunity to do the same for Jefferson County.

Trainings are scheduled for Feb. 13-17, March 13-17 and April 3-7. The trainings are offered virtually, with the exception of the April training, which has one mandatory in-person day.
