A 41-year-old Helena woman was killed in a one-vehicle rollover crash near Jefferson City Friday afternoon, Oct. 18, according to NBC Montana.
Montana Highway Patrol told the network that the woman was driving south on I-15 just before 4 p.m. Friday when she crossed lanes, over-corrected, rolled several times and was ejected from her vehicle. She died at the scene.
Montana Highway Patrol believes drugs, alcohol and speed were factors in the crash, NBC Montana reports.
According to the Montana Standard, southbound traffic was backed up for about 30 minutes.
