Practices for Jefferson High wrestling, cheerleading and girls and boys basketball are in full swing, with high turnout for all.
The wrestlers will soon see a lot of action. The team travels to Cascade on Friday and Saturday for a two-day tournament, starting at 10 a.m. on both days. On Thursday, December 6, the Panthers will host a mixer at Jefferson High School at 6 p.m. On Friday and Saturday, December 7-8, they compete at the Whitehall tournament, starting noon Friday and 10 a.m. on Saturday.
The varsity and JV basketball teams first see action at the Three Forks tournament on Friday and Saturday, December 7-8. On Friday, the JV girls play Three Forks at 10 a.m. and the varsity girls play Gardiner at 11:30 a.m., while the varsity boys play Gardiner at 4 p.m. and the JV boys play Twin Bridges at 7 p.m. On Saturday, the varsity girls play Huntley Project at 11:30 a.m., the varsity boys play Huntley Project at 4 p.m., the JV boys play Anaconda at 7 p.m., and the JV girls play Belgrade at 8:15 p.m.
