Walk the (crop) walk

This year’s annual Boulder Crop Walk is Sunday, Oct. 6. Walkers are invited to meet at Veterans’ Park for registration beginning at 2 p.m.; the Walk will begin at 2:15 p.m. We have planned an easy route, and walkers are welcome to walk just a portion or the entire approximately two-mile course.

CROP Walk, which has existed since 1947, is aimed at “Ending Hunger One Step at a Time.” Every year, thousands of people across the United States join together to walk in unity and in support of people living in hunger and poverty through long-range, sustainable approaches.  A portion of the funds raised will be allocated to our local Jefferson County Food Bank.
