Montana voters will choose a new member of the U.S. House next week in a special federal election to fill the unexpired term of Ryan Zinke. Zinke, a Republican, resigned his House seat in January to become the Secretary of the Interior under President Donald Trump. Vying for the position are Republican Greg Gianforte, Democrat Rob Quist and Libertarian Mark Wicks. A sample ballot, along with polling places and times, appears on page 11 of this issue of the Monitor.
