Jefferson High’s track teams completed their regular season on a strong note, with the boys winning a large meet in Anaconda Apr. 30 and a four-school event in Corvallis May 3. The Lady Panthers finished second among 21 schools in Anaconda, a promising result as they head to the District 5B meet in Belgrade this Saturday.

In Anaconda, the boys scored 82 team points, besting Drummond, with 74.5, Valley Christian, 71, Anaconda, 63.5, and Three Forks, 60.5 The girls’ 76.5 team points was second to Three Forks’ 98.5; Anaconda finished 3rd, with 61, followed by Drummonda, 57, and Ennis, 52.

Parker Wagner took 8th in the 100 at 12:28, and Michael Richard was 6th in the 200, at 24.62. McKenon Boyd placed 3rd in the 800 at 2:16.38, while Dylan Mikesell finished 8th at 2:16.38.
