These first few weeks, we have seen a lot of bills go through — some of them controversial bills that are trying to take away people’s rights and undermine people’s privacy and safety. These kinds of bills are not productive and are not a benefit for the citizens of our communities. I believe that with all that has happened in the past year we need to focus on bills that will improve the lives of every Montanan. Focus on strengthening our economy, creating good paying jobs, advance health care, protect education and help relieve the tax burden so many Montanans face. It is still early in the session and we still have a long way to go and Democrats will continue to fight for Montana’s working families and small businesses. Take care and stay safe.
