“There really needs to be something to do here,” Lisa says as she shows off the work in the next business she plans to open on the block. “Stitch and Stones” is a brightly painted art workshop, featuring pottery painting and needlework supplies. Ceramic tiles, dishes, cups and other items can be painted and decorated by customers, then glazed and baked in the on-site kiln. While open to all, the Goodners hope to attract birthday parties and senior citizen activities.
