The border crisis and the beginning of ‘Trump Doctrine’

Have you heard of the Trump Doctrine? Neither have I. But, after studying the southern border crisis, and talking to advisors in Virginia and Washington, I’m ready to try to articulate the inarticulate. (You might think of this as Bart Simpson attempting to writing elegant poetry.)

Here goes: “The Internet Age transformed the Communication Age into the Social Media, Crazy Age, and thus Donald Trump, a New York mega-star became the ‘Twitter President.’”

Donald Trump is an open book, having written a book that describes business almost totally from a salesman’s point of view, The Art of the Deal. In it, it could be said that negotiations are defined in punk, brinkmanship power. Everything is defined by “winning,” a term Trump has sidelined for a while as he transforms more into being presidential on a global stage.
