Team finishes more than 40 points ahead of second place

On their way to an exceptional finish at the Southern BC Divisional Wrestling Tournament in Columbus Saturday, the Jefferson High Panthers had some remarkable rounds.

With sixteen wrestlers, the maximum number allowed, the Panthers knew they had a shot at a team trophy and they went all out from the beginning.

In round one, all four entered Panthers – Eli Hauptman at 126 pounds, Jacob Travis at 138, Nate Brunett at 160, and Drake Schake at 182 – won by pin.
