This past week, Jefferson High School completed the first quarter of the academic year. It is amazing how fast time flew and how many events took place in the past nine weeks. 

JHS continues to provide many opportunities and programs to support student success. The Panther Study Table offered on Fridays, for example, has continued to grow in numbers and provides students the opportunity to meet with teachers on Fridays for additional support. 

The new extra-curricular eligibility policy has also been successful and has made it a team effort among administration, teachers and student participants. Students are aware of the weekly requirements for eligibility and the team approach has increased the efficiency of the process and raised the level of accountability for all involved.
