The Lady Panthers got in two much-needed days of tennis in Great Falls last week. They recorded one win, two ties and two losses in the competition. The Panthers beat Simms 4-2, tied with Poplar 3-3, lost to Fort Benton 5-1, tied CJI/Poplar 2-2 and fell to Fairfield 6-0. Against Simms, Breanna Rykal took a singles win for the Panthers by defeating Meagan Gannon 6-3, 6-3. Breanna Humphrey lost to Hannah Rushton 6-2, 6-2. Olea Saevik and Antonia Rekke each captured a singles win for the Panthers, Saevik winning 6-4 and 7-5 over Aurora MacDonald and Rekke defeating Mikayla Hart 6-3, 6-2. 

In doubles, Leah and Latrice Vossler defeated Maddie Bloom-Karkie Sivumaki 6-2, 6-4 and Paige Yanzick-Jadyn Bellander lost to Lissy Welekes- Janessa Welekes 6-2, 6-4. Not only was the contest with Poplar close enough to end in a tie, some of the individual matches were hard-fought, requiring extended play. 

In singles, Humphrey battled hard to come back for a 4-6, 6-4, 10-7 win over Rachel Diaz. Yanzick also had a close singles match before she was edged out by Sasha Youngman 6-4, 7-5. Other singles matches resulted in a second win for Rykal 6-2, 6-2 over Sam Youngman, and a loss for Rekke to Isabelle Four 6-4, 6-4. The Vossler-Vossler duo defeeated Sasha and Sam Youngman 6-3, 6-3, but Jadyn Bellander and Laurynn Armstrong came up short to Four and Diaz 6-3, 6-3.
