A lifelong lover of the stage, Randy lived each day as part of a grand production, full of heart, humor, and unforgettable moments. Though his final curtain call has come, the story he wrote in the lives of those who loved him will resonate long after the applause fades.
Act 1 – The Opening Scene
Randy Lee Smartnick was born Mar. 31, 1975, in Greensburg, Pa., to Ron and Joyce Smartnick, joining his older brother, Ronnie (Ron Jr.). At age three, the family moved to Livingston, Mt., and later Clyde Park, finally settling during his 6th grade year in Boulder, a place that became home and the backdrop for many formative memories.
