The Montana City Volunteer Fire Department will host a public meeting Oct. 24 aimed at helping property owners living in the wildlife urban interface in Montana City, Clancy, South Helena, and Jefferson City.
Representatives of the Tri-County Firesafe Working Group (TCFSWG) will discuss how to assess a home’ risk of ignition from wildfire and measures that can be taken to reduce risks. They’ll also present information on resources and a new funding opportunity for affected homeowners.
The meeting starts at 7 p.m. at the fire station, 1192 Highway 282. For more information, visit www.tcfswg.org.
