LEGAL NOTICE
On Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at 1:45 p.m., the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing in the Conference Room at the Jefferson County Clerk & Recorder’s Office in Boulder on the following item:
VARIANCE REQUEST FOR THE AMENDED PLAT OF LOT 12 DESTINY HILLS II MAJOR SUBDIVISION
This subdivision received a conditional preliminary approval from the County Commissioners on June 21, 2022. The developer is working on fulfilling the conditions of the preliminary approval. Casne and Associates has submitted a variance request on behalf of the subdivider, Cameron Hooper. The variance requested would allow the liquid limit for the crushed aggregate surfacing used on a new section of Bluebell Road within the proposed subdivision to be increased from the maximum standard of 25 to 30. The request states that other public entities currently allow for a liquid limit of 35, so increasing the amount to 30 would be consistent with the standards other entities allow. The property is legally described as Lot 12 on Certificate of Survey #180849, F507-B, located in Sections 30 & 31, Township 8 North, Range 3 West.
The relevant information regarding the agenda item may be viewed at the Jefferson County Planning Dept, located in the Jefferson County Courthouse. The Planning Dept will accept written comments on behalf of the County Commissioners. Written comments must be received for consideration by the County Commissioners by December 5th at 5:00 pm. Comments can also be presented in person at the County Commission’s public hearing on December 8th.
