Mission Statement: The Jefferson County Commissioners have provided recycle containers for corrugated cardboard, paper, aluminum and tin cans at all three County Transfer Sites (lovingly called the dump!).
BACC supports the collection of plastics (bottle shaped) with numbers 1 and 2 only. Bottles must be clean and have NO lids. NO square shaped food takeout containers and NO bags are accepted.
Collections are made at the Boulder Farmer’s Market on Thursdays July thru Sept. There is also a private recycle location at the Big Boulder Apts which is collected weekly. With more manpower we could set up recycling at more businesses and locations, too
Ways to volunteer: Help accepting and sorting materials after collection is needed.
Volunteer to educate the public at speaking opportunities and distribute brochures.
