Planning Board now also Parks Board

The City of Boulder by resolution has established a Parks Board and appointed the Planning Board to serve in that capacity.

The City Council approved the resolution by a unanimous vote at its July 15 meeting.

According to its content, the resolution was predicated by the Planning Board having expressed interest in pulling double duty. Parks Board duties “may include, but are not limited to, creating rules, establishing user fees, [and] recommending project or maintenance needs.”
