Fourteen Jefferson High wrestlers entered the Southern BC Divisional Wrestling Tournament in Townsend on Saturday, February 2. And when it was all done, six came out with all-conference honors – and tickets to the state tournament this weekend in Billings.

The action started with four Jefferson wrestlers in the first round. Of those, Christian Davis, at 113 pounds, was the only Panther to advance – and he did so by pin.

In the quarterfinals, seven Panthers made it through: Leon Anderson and Dominick Davis at 103 pounds; Cody St. Clair at 120 pounds; Eli Reed at 138 pounds; Drake Schake at 182 pounds; and Dakota Dorn and Coen Guisti at 205 pounds. St. Clair, Reed, Schake and Dorn all won by pin. Anderson, Reed, and Schake won their semi-final matches, as well, qualifying for the finals and punching their tickets to state.
