Patricia Eileen McGuire was born at the Florence Crittenton Home in Helena on March 17, 1934 to Ruth M. Rowan. She passed away on July 7, 2020, at the age of 86.
Patty grew up in the Flathead Valley, where she graduated from Flathead High School. She married Lew Anderson and they had three children together, Vicki, Lew and Robert (Bobby). She later married Walter Nettick of Boulder and they adopted two brothers from the Montana Developmental Center, George and Willie Ludwig.
She moved around Montana, living in Great Falls, Butte, and ending up in Boulder, where she spent the final 40-plus years of her life. She worked various jobs but always talked about her time as a cashier at the Buttrey’s in Helena, the Diamond “S” Hotel, and owning her own bookstore in Boulder.
