The Lady Panther volleyball team had a busy week, hosting Three Forks on Thursday, traveling to Manhattan on Friday and playing at Whitehall on Saturday.

The match with Three Forks was as great of a high school volleyball match as any, both teams fighting to claim the victory. The Wolves won game one 25-21 and game two 25-21. The Panthers came back to win game three 25- 19 and game four 25-21. Three Forks took an early lead in game five and the Panthers did not have time to make up the difference before the Wolves won 15-8.

These two teams are the top two teams in our district and certainly in the top portion of a very strong Southern Division. Both teams have powerful players that are fun to watch. Emily McGinnis was a Panther force to be reckoned with, deftly placing 23 kills to go with one ace, six digs and three blocks. Aubrey was right on track to provide 21 assists. Her three aces, three kills, three digs and two blocks added to the Panther performance. Ellie Evertz frustrated the Wolves efforts with ten blocks, added to one kill and one dig. Leah Vossler was also strong at the net, recording three kills and four blocksplus six digs and two assists.
