Panther volleyball takes fourth in division

Leaving Boulder for the Southern B Divisional Volleyball Tournament, the Jefferson High Panthers knew they had great support. Decorated by parents, the team bus bore inspirational posters on the ceiling from which dangled photos of the girls at age two, framed by volleyball images.

Everyone had plenty of reason to be proud of the team’s accomplishments. They went through the regular conference season without a single loss, sweeping every conference opponent three games to none. They got through the district tournament in the same fashion and brought home a district championship.

Spirits and anticipation were high.
