The Panthers had some challenges this week, as the volleyball team split its matches, losing to Columbus on Thursday, Sept. 21 (25-17, 25-23, 14-25, 18-25, 11-15) and beating Manhattan on Saturday, Sept. 23 (25-9, 25-4, 25-18), improving their non-conference reccord to 6-2 (their conference record is 5-1). The dominant start to the season is in large part thanks to the effort of Arena Faler, who leads the district with 81 kills. Haleigh Hensechel is also a district leader with 118 digs.
Panther volleyball’s next matchup is Thursday, Sept. 28 in Ennis, followed by a tournament in Choteau on Saturday, Sept. 30.
