Officials react to mass shooting in Las Vegas

A mass shooting at a concert in Las Vegas October 1 that killed at least 59 and wounded an estimated 500 others prompted words of compassion from Montana officials.

“There are no words that can capture the devastating loss, overwhelming anger and deep sorrow that we all feel today,” said Sen. Jon Tester.

“In times of horrific tragedy, the strength of this nation is tested, and it’s my hope that we can rise together, lift our neighbors up, and emerge stronger with healing in our hearts.” “The horror of Sunday night will be forever burned into this country’s memory,” said Attorney General Tim Fox.
