Nita McCauley retires from county

After 12 years working for Jefferson County, preceded by 10 years with the state Department of Revenue in Boulder, Nita McCauley worked her last day December 27. On hand to mark the occasion with her were family, friends and co-workers.

One group of well-wishers were others who have gone before her, retiring from working with Clerk and Recorder Bonnie Ramey in the past few years. Dixie Rennie, Cathy DuBois and Carla Matlack all spoke about how much they loved working for Ramey and how much they are enjoying retirement. They assured McCauley she would find plenty to do. She said she had no special plans for right away.
