New judge named

Luke Michael Berger, a deputy county attorney in Lewis & Clark County since March 2012, has been appointed to the bench in the Fifth Judicial District serving Jefferson, Madison and Beaverhead counties. He will replace Loren Tucker who is retiring at the end of this week. He took office in January 2001. Berger was raised in Beaverhead County and his wife’s family ranches in Madison County.
