Boulder Community Library card holders now have free access to Kanopy, an online service that streams more than 30,000 films according to Librarian Jodi Smiley.
The service’s collection includes documentary, classic and independent films from around the world — films that are “of unique social and cultural value … [and] are often difficult or impossible to access elsewhere,” Smiley said by email.
Patrons can sign up at bouldercomlib.kanopy.com.
Smiley is excited about the access to films Kanopy offers because “the library cannot possibly house as many films as the community seeks,” she wrote.
