Let’s take care in how we develop Boulder

Boulder is a wonderful community: peaceful, safe, charming and with friendly people. However, new development could change some of that.

The people who built homes on Depot Hill mostly did it for peace, space and quiet. A new development close by, west of the I-15 interchange, could remove some of those benefits.

Further, two-thirds of Boulder is over the age of 55 and surely can’t afford higher taxes — which already have increased over the last few years — that might result from the recent closing of Golden Sunlight Mine.
