Jefferson High Drama students received a standing ovation in Missoula last week for their performance of “Big Sandy,” an original play by JHS Drama Director Mike Hesford.
The troupe was participating in the annual Montana Thespian Festival.
“It was a great weekend,” said Hesford, “but little to show for awards. We did receive a standing ovation, which was nice.”
JHS actor Noah Anspach did come home with an award. He was honored with an “Outstanding Actor” award for his role in the play.
