JHS student sparks project aimed at energy efficiency

High school lunch time – for many, the phrase probably conjures up visions of kids playfully exchanging insults, tossing a chip at a buddy or engaging in close conversation of perceived young love.

For one Jefferson High student, though, lunch time may have sparked an interest expected to pay benefits for the next 25 years.

“I liked to hang out in the science class at lunch,” Dakota Zufelt says of his freshman year at JHS last year.
