JHS construction postponed to April 17

“Everything is moving forward except for the weather.”

That’s what Jefferson High superintendent Erik Wilkerson had to say when asked for an update on the highly anticipated JHS expansion project. The ground-breaking, he said, has been moved to April 17 due to the frost in the ground. Dick Anderson Construction put fences around impacted areas April 10 so the ground has time to thaw. Parking has been moved out past the fences for school personnel and students.
