A man convicted March 23 of driving drunk and endangering the public following a two- day jury trial was back in court March 29 for a bond hearing. Corey Jensen was found guilty by a six-man, six-woman jury of DUI, two counts of criminal endangerment, and possessing an open container of alcohol in his vehicle. He was acquitted of a charge of eluding peace officers, who said he reached speeds in excess of 125 miles per hour while traveling from near Jefferson City to near the Woodville exit, about 30 miles later. At the bond hearing, Judge Luke Berger was told Jensen also faces charges in Great Falls, where he is subject to a bond of $2585. The judge ordered bond on the Jefferson County case to continue as set earlier at $75,000. Sentencing will be held after the completion of a presentence investigation.
