Jefferson Valley Museum opens for season

The volunteer-run Jefferson Valley Museum at 303 S. Division in Whitehall opened for the season on Memorial Day weekend.

It costs nothing to visit the museum, which is open noon to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday until it closes for the season on Sept. 15.

According to a news release, recent improvements include an ongoing renovation of the John Jardine Building that houses “The Cowboy Room” and the car collection.
