The Jefferson County Museum will be buzzing with activity this fall as Clancy’s historic Old Red Schoolhouse prepares to host a lecture series.
Terri Vasecka will be the first to present a lecture on Sept. 9 at 1 p.m. Vasecka will discuss “The Mining Town that Wouldn’t Die,” before returning on Oct. 28 (also 1 p.m.) to tell the story of “Murder in Helena” and Nov. 11’s “The First Special Service Force and Helena: A Love Story.”
The museum will also welcome Lee Silliman on Oct. 14 at 1 p.m. to tell the tales of “The Mining Mills of the West.”
Entry to all lectures is free, however, the museum welcomes donations.
