I believe what our United States Constitution states, “We, the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, Establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.”

And I believe the First Amendment, “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.”

I kneel in gratitude to the wisdom therein, and to those who have lived and died to create and defend this United States government, and to make it a more perfect Union.
