Idaho man dies in accident, explosion

A rollover and explosion led to the death of an Idaho man Tuesday night near mile marker 156 southbound on I-15. 

The accident, which involved a semi-trailer pulling a tanker truck and pup trailer behind it, occurred at about 4:35 p.m. in the corners between Basin and Bernice, according to Jefferson County Sheriff Craig Doolittle.

The driver was identified as Spencer William Roddick, 34, of Rexburg, Idaho. Roddick was hauling gasoline and diesel fuel, said Doolittle.
