A two-vehicle crash on Highway 69 south of Boulder Monday morning was responded to by Boulder Ambulance, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, and the Bull Mountain and Boulder Volunteer Fire Departments.

With roads icy all over the county, that was the only major accident as of about 2 p.m. Monday, but there had been numerous slide offs Sunday night into Monday morning, according to the sheriff’s office.

The crash on Highway 69 was near mile marker 26 and occurred around 8:20 a.m. Initial reports said a passenger vehicle slid into a semi. The sheriff’s office said the semi driver was the one who called in the accident, and injuries were unknown at the time of the report.
