Homecoming Week JHS welcomes grads back

It’s Homecoming Week 2017 at Jefferson High, and the week is packed with activities. Monday featured a JV football game at home against Manhattan, and Tuesday afternoon brought Macho Volleyball players to the floor.

Powder Puff Football was on the schedule for Wednesday, September 27, at 3:10 p.m. Varsity sports is slated to get into the homecoming spirit on Thursday when the volleyball teams host Deer Lodge beginning at 4:00 p.m.

Friday is the really big day of the celebration. The morning is devoted to float building and decorating, interrupted at 10 a.m. for the Run 4 Seventy-Five, a fundraiser to raise suicide awareness. In its third year, the event was started by the-JHS senior AJ Eckmann in remembrance of classmate Denis Karasev. Sign up forms are available at the school, the L&P, Boulder River Pizza & Subs and First Boulder Valley Bank/ Montana City Bank.
