Finding ways to turn criminal offenders into successful citizens pays dividends in many ways, Governor Steve Bullock said after visiting Riverside Correctional Facility in Boulder last week. 

Saving taxpayer money, improving outcomes for offenders and keeping Montana communities safe are all rooted in criminal justice reform, he said. 

The visit came as part of a week in which governors from both sides of the political aisle highlighted criminal justice reform as part of a “Face to Face” initiative.
