Friends of the library receives $5,000 in ARPA funds

More activities are on their way to the Boulder Community Library after the organization recently received $5,000 in American Rescue Plan Act funds, according to Friends of the Library representative Jeanie Thiel. 

Future activities could include author readings, adult crafts and movie nights, Thiel said.

Ultimately, she hopes the money can help bring the library “back to pre-COVID levels of activity.” With this goal in mind, Thiel said the Friends might bring back the international food festival fundraiser and the Montana Film Festival.
