Flooding closes roads in Boulder, Clancy

High water from spring runoff forced the closure of some roads in Jefferson County in the past week.

Hubbard Lane south of Boulder was closed late last week between Highway 69 and the Red Bridge. Water from the Boulder River had breached its banks just north of the road and was crossing the road and eroding the banks at the side of the road in places. Officials estimated the road might be closed for a week or so.
