Mission Statement: The Farmer’s Market is held at Veterans Park on Main Street beginning the first Thursday after the 4th of July thru the last Thursday of September.
Set up is 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. The Midway Colony Farmers arrive and sell by 8:00 a.m. The market closes at 2:00 p.m. (Earlier, depending on the weather.)
Ways to volunteer: Help put up and take down signs each Thursday. Make new signs for vendors. Welcome vendors and fill out applications. Help Vendors set up and take down stalls. Help with the Plastic Recycle by accepting and sorting as needed and offering educational resources. Give a break to vendors during the day. Collect sales info as vendors pack up and leave. Manage the Farmer’s table which is a place for local farmers to drop off their goods for sale. The proceeds go to the farmers or are donated back to the Farmer’s Market.
