When Cory Kirch announced in October that he planned to sell Hardware Hank’s, there was a small flood of reactions on The Monitor’s Facebook page. Here’s a sampling.

Crickett Martin: It seemed like a rite of passage for my siblings and me to save our money and buy our first ten speeds from your dad. Running up the street to see if Gambles/Coast to Coast had what we needed as we grew into having our homes (they did), or just wandering in to make a wish list… such great memories. Nothing can ever replace the care and personal touch y’all provided.
Linda Gryczan: When I lived in Boulder, I bought parts, tools and paint there. What a loss to the town.
