Election results for Boulder, Whitehall

On Nov. 5, Gyle D. Nix was voted in as Boulder’s Ward 1 councilman, while in Whitehall Katy James and Maxine Samuelson were elected as Ward 2 and Ward 3 aldermen, respectively, while the Ward 1 vote resulted in a tie between Pat Peterson and Logan Reiff, according to unofficial election results provided by Jefferson County Election Administrator Bonnie Ramey.

Nix’s 25 votes outdid John “Cody” Oliver’s 14, while Samuelson’s 31 bested Shawn Hoagland’s 15. Whitehall’s Ward 1 and Ward 2 elections saw less voter turnout for more candidates: James won with 3 votes while Peterson and Logan Reiff each received 2.

Official results will follow a canvass of the election set for 3:30 p.m. Nov. 14 in the Clerk and Recorder meeting room, Ramey said by email.
