‘Dragon Lady’ charms kids at Boulder Library

Markie Scholz of South Dakota, a puppeteer known as the “Dragon Lady” and whose company’s name is “Dragons Are Too Seldom,” performs to a few dozen kids at Boulder Community Library on June 24. Librarian Jodi Smiley said she has been coming to Boulder to be a part of the library’s summer reading program for 13 years. The children also enjoyed a drawing giving away free tickets for the Culpepper and Merriweather Circus.
