Dondi Leon Hartford

Dondi Leon Hartford, 56, ascended the highway to Heaven on Dec. 21, 2017. He was at his home in Whitehall, MT, surrounded by his loving family after a hard fought battle with cancer.

Dondi was born on Aug 8th, 1961 to Betsey (Larry) Hallila and Calvin Hartford.

Don was the middle child and grew up with two older brothers, a younger brother and sister in Helena, MT. These times were not easy and on occasion were pretty hard. Dondi got a job at a very young age to help out his mom while still keeping an eye on his younger siblings. He always managed to find a way to make things fun, to laugh at the small stuff. The one thing that stayed strong for Don and a lesson he carried on through his life was the importance of family, love and friendship.
