Helena resident Dominick Rae Davis, who grew up in Jefferson City and graduated from Jefferson High School, passed away on Tuesday, Apr. 22.

Dominick was born prematurely, weighing just two pounds,  on July 15, 2002, in Trier, Germany. He was followed minutes later by his best friend and identical twin brother, Christian. The two were inseparable, and when their family moved back to Montana the boys met their cousin, Brailynn, born 8 hours prior. From that day on, the trio became known as “the triplets”  They did just about everything together, usually accompanied by laughter.

Dominick had an extremely infectious smile and laughter, no matter the circumstances. As a teen, he loved playing sports, including wrestling, cross country, track, and baseball. Being born prematurely, the odds were stacked against him and Christian, but this only added to their competitive nature and drove both to do their best. Dominick, who would often be heard before being seen due to his constantly blasting music, enjoyed dirt biking, hunting, fishing, bowling, working out, and playing video games.
