The following cases were heard in Jefferson County’s district court on October 25.
Tyson Heisler, 33, was sentenced to four years with the Department of Corrections for felony possession of methamphetamine. He was also fined $400. In addition, he was sentenced to six months in jail for possession of drug paraphernalia and six months in jail with all but one day suspended plus a $600 fine for drunk driving. He was also given credit for time served of about six months.
Adam Sim, Boulder, pleaded not guilty to two allegations of sexual intercourse without consent. He was ordered to remain in the state unless he gets court permission, to attend school when the school says he is eligible, and to avoid contact with victims, witnesses and their families. He was also reminded by the judge not to discuss the case with anyone. A hearing on whether the case will be moved to youth court was postponed.
