The following cases were heard in district court in Boulder on December 6.
Abdulhadi Alrashidi of Twin Falls, Idaho, failed to appear for a hearing on his appeal of a justice court conviction for driving with a suspended or revoked license and violating construction zone regulations. After his attorney told the court he had no contact with Alrashidi, the case was dismissed and remanded to the justice court. Injustice court Alrashidi was sentenced to six months in jail, all but three days suspended, plus a $250 fine for the license violation and fined $70 for the construction zone violation.
Fantasy Braulick of Helena entered not guilty pleas to charges of felony possession of methamphetamine, felony possession of Flexeril, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Law enforcement officials allege Braulick was discovered in possession in Whitehall on October 25. The judge ordered the defendant not to leave the state without permission, possess alcohol or illegal drugs, be in any bar, or have contact with any victim or witness in the case. The judge also ordered Braulick to be on drug monitoring.
