A group of Boulder volunteers received a thank you from volunteers in Washington state last week. On behalf of the “Days for Girls International” organization, Bellingham, WA volunteer Jane Brook wrote to the Boulder volunteers to thank them for donated items to help girls previously unable to attend school at certain times of the month. A news story about the project appeared in the Monitor in April. “Your kindness will change the lives of girls everywhere,” said the thank you note received last week.
